Daniel Erlandson

Daniel is the founding member and CEO of HPLA with over 25 years of experience in the multifamily housing industry throughout the United States. Mr. Erlandson has successfully positioned HPLA as a recognized industry leader in multifamily landscape architecture. In his role as principal Daniel is responsible for the overall design direction of the firm as well as business development and corporate management. Growing up in Long Island, New York his passions for art, nature and creative problem solving all came together in landscape architecture. He was fascinated by the profession’s strong combination of art and science and the opportunity of creating dynamic outdoor spaces for people to enjoy; places that are never static but always changing with time and season. When not in the design studio Daniel enjoys spending his time with his family in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico or supporting live music acts whenever possible.
