5700 Hillsborough

Geared towards both NC State students and young professionals, this project, in the heart of Raleigh, will provide garden style living just a short walk from campus. A three-level, cascading pool is situated along a sight line that provides views to a jumbo Tron & large pool cabana at the pool’s southern terminus. Smaller private cabanas and various types of lounge seating flank both sides of the pool, further accentuating the views from all deck levels and from the spa & fire trough at the upper level. At the northern terminus, sits a contemporary, illuminated gathering structure. This artistic structure serves as an anchor for the array of amenities throughout the project; anchoring the pool to the south, and the great lawn to the north & east. Café guests can socialize on the terrace, overlooking the great lawn where residents play various yard games, socialize at the fire pit, or enjoy a friendly barbecue at the outdoor kitchen and entertainment center. 5700 Hillsborough is designed to provide gathering of scales from large to intimate and incite an experience for the user that changes through personal discovery and definition of the spaces.
